Celeste is personable and approachable. Her easygoing personality, curiosity, and direct communication style make therapy comfortable and accessible. Using a client-focused approach, she adapts her therapeutic style to fit her client's needs best. Celeste's education and therapeutic philosophy come from a systems theory and strengths approach, using multiple models including solution-based therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), the Gottman method, and therapeutic tools from other models.

About

Celeste Carolin has spent her first career helping people and organizations build change. Today, she focuses on working with adults, couples, and teens with ADHD, AuDHD, depression, life changes, anxiety, anger issues, trauma, and OCD. Enjoying working with couples, she also offers therapy services to monogamous and non-monogamous couples, specializing when there is one of each. Celeste provides unique Neurodivergent / ADHD-affirming couples therapy to couples when one or both members have ADHD and/ or Autism that impacts the relationship.

Celeste has worked with the LGBTQ community for the last ten years, building youth and parent acceptance programs and programming to support faith transitions. She has extensive experience working with those navigating conservative religions like LDS and those from Mainline Christian and Evangelical backgrounds.

Education

Celeste studied Leadership and Psychology at Brigham Young University - Idaho, Business Management at Harvard Extension School, and received her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University.

Outside of therapy, Celeste loves to explore the PNW landscape by camping, biking, and boating around the peninsula with her partner, stepkids, and grandkids with their Mini-Aussie pup, Jackson, and their Maine Coon kitten Conrad.
